Roof Construction Update

Dear friends,

First Presbyterian Church will start replacing the roof of our Sanctuary on Monday, October 6, and is projected to finish by Friday, October 17 or earlier depending on weather. This will have an impact on our parking capacity as the upper parking deck will be blocked for the duration of the project.

Because of the limited number of parking spaces available, we ask that church members refrain from coming to the church office during business hours between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. During that time, the basement parking will be used by Weekday School faculty. After 12:30 p.m., to get access to the church building, please come to the Weekday School door and ring the doorbell to be buzzed in. If you have any trouble getting access to the building or would like to come in through the basement doors, please call the church office at 706-543-4338 and a staff member will assist you.

Weekday School parents/staff: please be on the lookout for communication regarding parking and carpool procedures that will be sent by WDS Director, Elaine Johnson.

If you need to come to the building for any meetings after working hours, please contact the church office at 706-543-4338 or e-mail paulo@firstpresathens.org to get a church key and instructions to open the basement garage gate.
