Candice Jenkins, our new administrative assistant for communications, joined us on June 15. Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Candice graduated from the UGA Department of Journalism with a degree in Publication Management. After completing an internship with Savannah Magazine, working with the marketing department of an insurance company and acting as nanny for a family in Atlanta, Candice returned to Athens with her husband, Jeremy. They recently moved into their new home in Watkinsville and are excited and enthusiastic about painting, landscaping, and decorating. (Any one who wants to help is welcome!) Candice and Jeremy are both pleased to be back in Athens and eagerly anticipate the UGA football season – “it is our life focus, every fall!” Kasha, a husky-great pyrenees mix, and Dozer, an English bulldog, are the other members of Candice’s family. Running, dancing, developing photographs and designing stationary for friends represent favorite pastimes. Even though Candice misses the ocean, she is delighted to be in Athens and a part of the First Presbyterian Church family.
